Mother's Day

It’s once in a year celebration to all the mothers in the universe. My eldest brother, Daniel, held a minor celebration at a seafood restaurant called “Fei Lou Hai” which just located few miles away from The Mines shopping mall complex. This restaurant might sounds familiar to those long term Cheras residents as it is very famous with crabs and not to mention, the lake view where customers could feel a faint breeze and enjoy their dish simultaneously, though the weather nowadays already scrapped down this benefit. Still, the restaurant is constantly full.

So, yeah, it was there when we had our fine dinner as a family, yet, boring, since none of us actually were there, I mean, technically, we were there, but our hearts, were somewhere else because we didn’t speak a word until we got back home.

Right after a waiter led us to our seats; he immediately served us with soured peanuts and moisture towels (meant for after meal). Classic.

Our first dish was fried rice with some additional spices in it. I don’t know what they called this in English, but it’s tofu with wild mushrooms. Hmm… just like a homemade dish.

Fried buttered squids.

Steamed African fish.

And finally, the infamous crabs with chutney (sweet and hot sauce). The sauce can be too, compounded with baked British bread.

The whole meal cost Daniel a total of RM183 by EXPECTEDLY.

A mother and son were feeding the cat fishes by the lake. A similar scene where you can see in The Mines.

How luxury that your eldest brother would take you all out for dinner. And it's odd when none of you talk. We gone out to eat too but felt like it's just another random dinner moment, I talk much with my uncle about desktop stuffs. XD

Well, it's not the first time, just rare. This is how we usually act when having an outing. Even if we head for shopping, we mostly go on seperately.
