Re- Battle Royale

Due to an encouragement from my English teacher, Pn. Habibah. I would like to take back my failed project which i never started to write before; Battle Royale. Unlike the previous one, this time i've twisted the whole plot from Japanese to Malaysian.

The characters name were actually taken from my friends in real life, most of them are my classmates. Since i need 42 students for the "game", i'll add 11 more additional characters as my class only have 31 students. The story takes place in Malaysia, of course there would be a multiple races in the "game".

During the last planning, there was only one main antagonist. Now, in order to make the "game" more stimulated and dramatic, i've added up to 3 main antagonists for this latest one. Again, every student has their own story to tell. So, it probably will take weeks to plan their background story, and i've finished 4 of them.

The reason of why i used my friends to portray the characters in my story is, it's more easier for me to imagine "what will happen if they encounter one another". Besides, i also can imagine their reaction when they are forced to kill their own friends to survive (although someone like Jun Meng is quite more challenging to me =.='')

Basically, the death for the characters are similar to my previous plan, just a little changes. Plus, this is not like the movie/manga/novel versions where always more than one student survives from the game due to their luckiness or something like that. My version is a real game where only 1 student left.

Consoles War

As you know, Xbox 360 is going up to a whole new level where you play game without using any controllers. I read many stupid comments which obviously posted by the PS3 fan boys on all over the YouTube videos that regarded to Xbox.

Im sorry, but they are just trying to make themselves a fool. I mean, that technology hasnt even officially released yet and they keep giving negative comments on it. I couldnt assure whether they're just jealous because PS3 doesnt own this or maybe it is really suck. By the end of the day, all of us dont have the qualification to judge it since we never tried before.

Some even worst, they brought up PC to this war. I was like"WTF?" Console games can easily defeat PC in multiple ways. And some of them even proclaimed that this technology is completely a rip off from Nintendo Wii. I've to say that those people are just stupid, they dont know nothing and still insisted to bark like a dog.

That technology was in development before the other HD consoles even came out! It took them 20 years to create this technology. Oh gosh, these people need some serious help. And dont get me wrong, i've to admit that PS3 is quite good too. If it wasnt because the game discs are way too expensive, i probably want to buy that too ;)

There's no way for you to get a cetak rompak game disc for the PS3 console, because the console only supports with HD Blue Ray disc, which is why they cost so highly expensive.

Kinect- Sports

A very great game to keep fit without going outdoor ;)

Kinect- Joy Ride

Im not into racing games, but still looks very fun to play XD

If you're wondering why are they raising their hands up and down and push their hands from back to forward. It's because these following actions will make your avatar in the game spin around and strike a pose while the car is flying across the road as you can see in the video. Pushing forward your hands will give a quick boost for your car. It isnt just that, you can also do many possible actions to spin your avatar like turn your whole body in 360 degrees (i saw a girl did that while they were promoting this new technology game)

Kinectimals

Ermm... This game is aim for children, so...

Kinect- Adventures

These games look quite fun to play with friends :D

The photos have the ability to share it on FaceBook if you registered to Xbox Live. Alternative, if you want the song name, it is called "Daylight" performed by Matt and Kim.

Future of Gaming

black and sexy~

I dont know you guys heard about this great news or not but... the newest design for Xbox 360 will be released in no time. They had minimize the size into more lighter and quieter than the previous model, which is good. Everybody knows how heavy does an Xbox console is, from the original 'till 360.

I feel so glad that i didnt buy it too soon, lol. The price is currently same as the original Xbox 360, but it still hasnt officially released yet. How about the old ones that still on sell? Well, they're planning to discontinue it right after the remaining stocks have sold out (that's why they lower the price down). Now i just hope that the price will be permanent instead of currently.

After having a discussion with my brothers, we decided to push the whole plan back to next year. One, because during that time, i probably have found a job which makes more easier to earn money. Two, the new Xbox 360 is included with "Project Natal" (they renamed to "Kinect") which will be launched on this November 4. So, if we buy it now, then the "Project Natal" have to buy it separately. Not worth at all.

Im pretty sure Nintendo Wii is going down soon... ;)

Video Game Actors

Finally someone posted this video on YouTube! I always wanted to see the characters' live actor. I realized that the actors in Forbidden Siren 2 are more hotter, sexier or handsome than the original game =P

I Cry, Suddenly...

Video games were meant to be fun, cheering you up and make you go "Yahoo!" whenever you complete a mission, right? Well, I found a totally completely different game which exclusive only for the PS3 console, called "Heavy Rain".

How did i know about this game since it only released for the PS3? Well, this game was born from my most favourite game company, Quantic Dream, so i would know that by automatically, lol. Their previous project, "Fahrenheit", was a great game too, which we play in "drama" style. Too bad, the plot was a joke to me. The starting of the game was very realistic, then i dont know why it suddenly shifted to some kind of matrix game =.=

As for "Heavy Rain", i read the plot before i watch the WHOLE walktrough on Youtube. I thought it's just another action game which you armed with a weapon and kick some asses, but i was wrong. This game is more than just a game, i actually did cry at the game for more than 3 times... Especially at Ethan Mars, one of the 4 playable lead characters.

Ethan Mars was a very successful architect and a married man with two sons. At the very beginning of the game, it was more like a "Happy Family" which kinda reminds me of "The Sim". But after what happened in the second chapter, i quickly felt down for him; Jason, his elder son, was hit by a car and died. Worst thing is, the day he passes away was his birthday! Birthday turns to Funeral day...

Two years later, we learn that he gets divorced and live separately from his wife, Grace, and quit his job as an architect. His other son, Shaun, currently lives with him in a new but old house. Shaun used to be very close with Ethan, now he turns to more melancholy and is like "I hate you daddy!". There was a scene that took place inside a study room, Ethan plays a video that he filmed with his family before the incident happened. This reminds him back to when he used to be very happy with his kids. Eventually, he cries, and so am i.

The plot shifted to more dramatic and emotional when Shaun gets kidnapped by a serial killer called "Origami Killer". Ethan has to go through a total of 5 trials in order to save his son (the trials remind me of "Saw" , though), which forced him to against the traffic law, kill a man, cut his finger, drink a bottle of poison and crawl through a small tunnel which lies with full of sharp glasses. By the end of the day, player could choose to do it or not to it.

Ethan is the ideal dad that every son wants. I never thought a game could make me cry multiple times, not even a movie able to do that. So, this game is definitely going to hit #1, very powerful and emotional. Surprisingly, there are 17 endings available for this game. Same as Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, the game will change and affect your ending judging by the player's performance during the game.

Seriously, Ethan Mars is my first favourite male character for video game ;)

Heavy Rain trailer #1

Heavy Rain trailer #2

I personally in love with these two fan made trailers. There are far more better than the actual ones, i must say. The songs, however, are very emotional and fit with the game so much.

Tears In The Rain

This is the most saddest ending i've ever seen on video game.

Re-Teenage LifeStyle

After more than one week of discussion about our daytrip to Times Square and Sungei Wang, i can tell that some of us are not willing to take participate to this activity. In other hand, they were just showing their reputation to us.

I disliked their attitude for being a follower type, they frequently have to follow other people's feeling to decide whether they want to participate or not, like if he goes, then they'll go, if not, they'll decline it.

It's very annoying and giving us trouble to plan a proper schedule for the trip due to their answers that can be changed in every 5 minutes. This daytrip was meant to be enjoyed together, but instead, we're splitting the gang into 2 groups as some of us intending to attempt a different activity than the others.

There's one more thing that i still dont understand about them, how come they never wanted to watch Shrek IV (except for the girls)? I mean, do they really have a wonderful childhood life? Because of this, half of us are not planning to watch movie, they would just hanging around the mall 'till the movie ended.

Im sorry, but by making this decision just make yourself a fool. Come on guys, my cousins in Kelantan are dead dying to watch this cartoon in 3D and they cant barely had a chance to do it. You guys are different but you still claim that the cartoon was only for kids... I wonder how are they going to survive when they have kids of their own?

Life's short, try to experience everything even the cost is quite expensive, i could ensure that more than half of us never watched a 3D movie before. If you never wanted to try, how could you know how exciting does a 3D movie is? This is why i rather spend my 100 ringgit which originally save for my Xbox 360 on the indoor theme park in Times Square. I just wanna know how does it feels when i ride a roller coaster as i never rode before.

Besides that, some of them are just wasting their time if they join the karaoke team. I mean, that kind of activity can be attempted in Jusco which is quite near from where we're staying. Why cant they try something that cant be easy to do it daily?

Jade Empire

It took me 3 months to finished this game, but it wasnt because the game is long, it's due to my laziness to complete it, lol.

Jade Empire is the father of Mass Effect since both of them were born from the same company, Bioware. According to Wen Sern's description on Mass Effect, yes, both of the games do have similarity in their own ways.

Same as other popular RPG games like Fable, your action during the game will affect your ending and amount of side quests. In Jade Empire, being as a good hero, you normally have to sacrifice some great items such as weapon, money or fighting style that can only be acquired if you try to be mean at a character.

For some reasons, when i play it for the second time as a female heroine, i decided to be mean, evil and cold-blooded to each characters that i've met, including my followers, of course. It turns out that it was quite funny, especially the dialogues that the game let me choose. For example;

There was a side quest which related to triangle love. A man who named Bei is engaged with a woman named Chai Lin. However, another woman, Ai Lin, who is a leader of gangsters is in love with Bei. After learning that Bei is engaged with Chai Lin, Ai Lin confronted with Bei to force him marries her. So, Bei asked me to help him solve the trouble without attempting a bad deed.

I brought both of the engaged couple to meet Ai Lin in her hideout. As an evil heroine, i suggested the girls should fight with one another, the winner gets Bei. The girls agreed but Bei was not. In the end, Ai Lin killed Chai Lin on purpose, which leaded Bei to hated her, then Ai Lin defended herself and accidentally killed Bei. Ai Lin pushed everything back to me. Eventually, we all ended up killing each other XD

If i did it in angelic way, Ai Lin would ask me to find another good man for her, lol.

It wasnt really that good if i keep being as an evil character, because some of my followers will turn on me and i've to kill them. However, some of them might also get killed by random accidents if i didnt protect them that well.

Only one of my follower died during my first played, get stabbed in the heart by a stronger enemy. Still, he died in the name of loyalty. He was trying to protect me to pay a debt of gratitude for trusting him all the way long from beginning 'till end. I wonder what will happen if i distrust him? Wait and see...

There was only one thing that is different from Mass Effect, you cant have sex, but you could gain a romance relationship with other characters, depending on how polite and generous you are.

Anyway, Jade Empire is a great game to play, no wonder why they said Bioware is a good game company. Too bad for those PlayStation owners, though.
