Unexpected Party

My parents are invited for a birthday party at the Community Hall in Balakong this evening. The party was organized by an Indian best friend to my father who capable to speak Hokkien.

There’s only one word to describe the whole occasion; HORRIBLE. It wasn’t because the crowd was mainly Indian. In fact, zero activity was held. I had only seen people wandering around like a zombie, or taking photos of one another. Worse is we were as if a hollow man to them, nobody actually came and talked with us at all. Fortunately, there was another Chinese family who happens to be my relative joined in. We shared the same table since the others completely ignored us.
The food was a disaster; typical Indian food with curry, curry and curry. I shoved in all as fast as I could, so that I might get back home soon.

Well, at least they did serve us with chocolate cake, nothing special, though.

Result Day

I’ve heard a lot of SPM 2010 candidates said how nervous and tension they were before the result day arrived. However, I probably was one of a few people in Malaysia who felt super incredible relaxing that I was even playing Left 4 Dead 2 on the actual day with Wen Sern. That doesn’t mean that I was very confident with my result since I didn’t push 100% for the exam. So, I could actually imagine how my result would look like without going to school.

When I arrived at school, I immediately encountered Kah Chin and Lee Cheng who were chatting with Chun Yan which revealed how depressing his result was, all pass but didn’t have a single C or better grade. This would ultimately block him from forwarding his education in either college or University. At the end of the day, it wasn’t my problem at all; I should have worried my own issue instead.

It took me awhile when I finally decided to take my own result with Kah Chin and you know what happened? They said I haven’t returned the textbooks which I already did like 10 years ago. All I can say is that SMKBBSL is an irresponsible school in Cheras. They constantly throw every problem that has nothing do with you on you. In the end, I went to school for nothing as they told me to come again by next day…

Happy Birthday to Me :D

Although there's a smiley face displays on the topic, that doesn’t mean that I am very happy right now. Instead, I feel so empty even though people out there keep wishing me on Facebook and SMS. To be honest, it's very annoying that a series of short message constantly hit on my Facebook profile every single second. If you ask me, I’d rather “enjoy” my birthday in a peaceful way. Anyhow, thanks for those who actually remember my special day.

I AM OFFICIALLY 18!

Final Day

After more than 50 days of working, it has finally come to an end! Although I only work as a part timer, I did gained a lot of experiences through serving customers and learning stuff about Adidas, which I was working for.

I couldn’t believe myself that I can actually able to socialize with customers regardless of what race they are. Still, I only prefer speaking either Mandarin or English; the languages that I grew up with. The main problem is; most of my co-workers happen to be Cantonese, so sometimes I was forced to speak Cantonese with them, which I disliked. My boss however, is the only person who willing to speak English with me.

I received my working outfit during the second week that I must put on for the rest of my working days. It was all in red with three white stripes designed on both shoulders and an Adidas logo sewed on the left chest. This outfit was meant for borrow. I’ve to return them once I got my last salary by the end of March.

Was it really tired when I was working? The answer is no, I think the reason of why I always got this tired was sleep late. It has nothing to do with work since my job was pretty relaxing except during weekends and public holidays.

I am s glad that I am officially unemployed… again… It’s real boring as if I was wasting my 9 hours a day for nothing.

Annual Dinner

14th of February was supposedly to be a romantic day for every couple in the universe. However, I had different celebration with 19 of my co-workers in The Mines, an “Annual Dinner”. Honestly, I’ve no idea what’s the purpose for this celebration, maybe something like “Reunion Dinner” or so? Whatever...

The dinner was held at Puchong in a fancy Japanese Buffet Restaurant called “Tenji”. The restaurant itself already enough to make me became excited with or without the food appearance. It looks very expensive that lower class family like mine might have average chance to step through the main door. Besides that, it's a Japanese Restaurant! Who doesn't like Japanese anyway?

Once we were there, the first thing I saw was sushi session where numerous types of sushi can be found placing on an ice block. The whole room was so quiet that you can actually hear a nail falls; totally filled with Japanese culture. My boss, Jason, booked a total of 4 tables in the middle of the restaurant. The room was quite small actually, and with 20 people stepping inside, it was even smaller than my own bedroom.

If you think the buffet only provide sushi, you're so wrong. It has many other types of food from steamboat to fried rice to ice cream to cake and so on. You can eat whatever you want as long as you have paid the fee, though i'm not sure how many per person since my boss paid all. Alright, there's nothing much to tell here, just view a few of photos taken by Ivy and drop some comment, thanx.Left: Glasses team
Right: None-glasses team

You wouldn't believe that both of them are biological brothers. Ah Han (left, younger) & Ah Hong. Ah Han is also the newest staff who just joined in for a week) Me and Ah Ying ( WE ARE NOT COUPLE) Kah Jun, me and Ah Han (the one who always molest me -.-) Joey, she refused to take photo, so we were forced to take it like this XD

So-Called Chinese Lunar New Year

Chinese New Year of 2011 has just arrived with no excitement hitting on the street. Everyone was having their reunion dinner back at hometown while I probably the only Chinese on earth had Maggie Mee for solidarity dinner since I had work. It would be worth if I got double pay, but the fact is nope.

If I despites the disadvantage, my boss, Jason, did give each of his staff a red packet including me and Jun Meng, of course. I must say that the content inside did shock me a little, though, lol. Even though our shop was closed at 9pm. Still, we had couple of chores that need to be done before we were officially released such as; cleaning the floor and rearrange the stocks. In the end, we went back home exactly the same time as ordinary day…

I think I’ve made a right decision for taking a total of 4 days off. This means that I will be back for work by next Monday. Originally, I only tended to take 2 days off because one of my female co-workers told me that they will pay us RM100 for working in Chinese New Year festival, but only limited for the first two days. However, I had a little problem on whether wanna work as usual or not since i might head to Cameron Highland with family (which ended up cancel), taking 4 days off instead. Anyway, I am not regretted at all, I shouldn’t sacrifice my energy just because of either money or gaming console.

Happy Chinese New Year! whatever...

PayDay

Yes! My plan is approaching me as time passed by like a dream. I need to wait for another month before I can actually archive my goal- to get an Xbox 360 by the end of February. I feel so great that I finally earn something that I paid a lot of effort on it rather than just extend my hand asking money from family!
