PayDay

Yes! My plan is approaching me as time passed by like a dream. I need to wait for another month before I can actually archive my goal- to get an Xbox 360 by the end of February. I feel so great that I finally earn something that I paid a lot of effort on it rather than just extend my hand asking money from family!

Poslaju Memang Laju!

I’ve just received one of my 10 reserved (now 11, Dead Space 2) Xbox 360 games the other day- Splinter Cell: Conviction. The service was super fast that only required one day for posting service. Even though I haven’t got an Xbox 360 yet, but I feel like I had one sitting beside me.

Fraud

2 days ago was a public holiday of Thaipusam, a Hindu festival mostly celebrated in India as well as Singapore and Malaysia. As I recall, before I officially accepted my current job, one of my supervisor told me that every public holiday will be paid double which is RM6 per hour. I was so happy that I could earn more money. The next day, they told me that double pay is not accounted for Thaipusam. WTF? Then what kind of "public holiday" do they meant?

"WorkAholic"

It’s has been a week since I started working with Jun Meng as a part time sales in The Mines. For those of you who never came to visit us. Probably wouldn’t know how pathetic we are when on duty. We both look like going to die in any second as we are forced to stand up for 9 hours straight with or without customer’s existence.

As a beginner, our main duty is to make sure no customer snatches something away from our shop. Whenever a customer steps in, we have to standby ourselves to each corner where we can see the whole room. Other than that, serve the customer whenever they need one. It may sound easy to you, its real pain in reality. Mark my word, when you planning to work as a sales or waiter, make sure you are capable to speak Malay, English and Cantonese as these three languages normally have been used though Cantonese can be replaced by Mandarin.

Relationship with co-workers is quite good. They are funny, friendly and willing to help you. Most of them are about the same age as us. So, we shouldn’t have problem with communicating. Conclusion is- this job is 50%50%. I’m going to quit by 11th of March anyway (or sooner), don’t know about Jun Meng, though.

2011

And so... another boring year has ended...

I wish all the best for those who are struggling in life and so with the students who going to face their upcoming huge exam. Creating a closer relationship between me and my friends so we wont suddenly lost contact from each other (it's actually happening right now). God bless my friends, family and the sick ones.

This is all I can say for now. Just LIVE HAPPILY :)
