Movies Time!

Another 2 weeks of holidays came to say hello again! Since I’m going back to Pulau Penang on this Thursday night, I decided to organize a movie day with some several friends in my class. Sadly, majority of them couldn’t make it or already watched the movie that I’ve planned. In the end, only 5 of us went to Mid Valley and watched two movies in a row for the first time ever.

I booked the earliest tickets for Piranha, 11:30 in the morning, which forced us to wake up early as well since we required collecting our tickets 45 minutes before the movie starts. Similar to our previous day trip; where we chose Utar University as our meeting point to reduce confusion or trouble.

We officially set off to KTM train station at 8.30 in the morning by bus. Once there, the whole station was sort of empty and silent due to the time was still early. That was my second time on taking a train to a shopping mall, so it was quite fun and excited to me. It didn’t take long when the train was finally arrived. However, we made an embarrassing mistake that we boys shouldn’t do. We entered the wrong cart that specialized for the ladies only, lol.

At the mall, we realized that most of the shops haven’t opened business yet, which reminded us one of the levels on “Left 4 Dead 2”, that was the time when we started to discuss the game again like we usually do in class. We proceeded to Mc Donald at ground floor to take our breakfast since Cheng Yu, Jun Meng and I haven’t eaten anything. The other two, Lee Cheng and Kah Chin already had their breakfast while waiting for us at the bus station.

Later on, we went to collect our tickets. We were concerned about that we might unable to enter the theater since the movie was rated 18, so we kept asking each other any plan B in case if we really couldn’t get in. But the worries were immediately vanished when we saw an arcade store nearby somewhere around the cinema, lol.

Around an hour later, we returned to the cinema as it was the time to watch Piranha. Amazingly, the ticket collector didn’t analyze our age at all. He simply examined our tickets and there we went inside the theater with no trouble. Sadly, the movie disappointed me a little as the characters are so dumb and the ending leaves you with a big question mark. If you haven’t watched this movie, I recommend you just buy the DVD or download it from the net.

After the movie, we had completely forgotten about Lee Cheng’s camera as Jun Meng leaved it on his side chair. We rushed back to the theater again but the camera was no longer there. Fortunately, an employee told us to get it back from the office. Lol.

We decided to watch another movie in 3D since the time was still incredible early. We planned to watch Step Up 3, but there was no seat available, forced us to watch Cats and Dogs 2 instead. We went to Mc Donald again because Lee Cheng wanted to have his lunch. The other 4 of us just accompany him and chit-chatting till the movie begins.

The movie was good, but boring at the same time. The plot was like a joke more than interesting to me. I felt regret on spending on it, lol. Since there was nothing for us to do anymore, we decided to call it a day. It took us like about 2 hours to get home =.= But it was a great day indeed.
